R.I.P. Trudeau (Oct 18, 1919-Sept 28, 2000)
Today, 11 years ago, we lost the greatest Prime Minister Canada has ever seen & my personal hero. Whether you agree with this, his vision or his policies, I wish to honour and remind us of the vision he laid out for all Canadians. He can never be replaced & “there are no more Caesars”. There are no Trudeaus left. R.I.P. Pierre Elliott Trudeau.

I must admit. I admire the boldness of it. Is it the most effective use of our resources? No. Is it going to pay off in the short term? No. Is it still worth doing? Maybe.
This is the heart that other parties have never had in their cold, calculating ‘realism’ obsessed tactics. The problem is what is real to them is only real to them and they need to remember the difference between...

Parliamentary Photo "Alteration" - HA! →
I’m wiped. From the provincial election craziness, the re-entrance into university life, the Copps4President campaign, young Liberal business, convention prep, the learning curve in un autre langue (français), being a Toronto Star blogger, a couple of key events in the next couple of weeks, still holding onto my job at the theatre, the guilt of living an inadequate social life and all the...

Toronto Star Community Blogger
So I’ve been selected to be the Toronto Star Community Blogger for the riding of Ottawa-Vanier. My task will be to report on the upcoming Provincial election, and as un-biased as I could be… I think that has been tossed out the window.
First off, I am not a fan of talking points, buzz words or plugging things other people thought of. I have my own reasons for voting Liberal and...

Ontario Liberals: Only Logical Choice
For Ontario’s sake there must be a Liberal government in Ontario. What are the alternatives? An Ontario NDP government again? Clearly Ontario voters do not respond well to the notion of that. To clear up any misconception, it is known that the Ontario NDP is not the Federal NDP. They have no Jack Layton, they are not the party of Jack Layton and they still represent minimal seats, vision and...

Bob Rae Post on Liberal.ca.
I am a Liberal because I cherish freedom, freedom of speech, conscience, religion, freedom to realise my own potential, freedom to associate with whomever I choose and to share freely my ideas and views. I understand the struggles and loss of life that have helped to build and protect this freedom. And I understand that those who would deny the importance of these freedoms are still in power in...
Update 9/7/11
I’m all moved in. I’m all set it would seem. Many an Ikea instruction set have my roommates and I slaved over in the last couple of days. No wireless, except for very slow hotspots on the stove or on Brett’s bed, unless I come downtown (here) to a Second Cup.
I look like this while sitting @ Second Cup:
Today is the first day of classes, the day Sheila Copps announced her...
The solution to bad government is good government; not no government.
